The department takes responsibility for the implementation of policies on registration, transfer and graduation of students, safekeeping of all permanent academic records of students, including the generation, storage, and use of such records, and the preparation of transcripts of records, certifications, and diplomas/certificates. It also takes charge of commencement and similar exercises.
