UE Top Performing School in the 2008 Dentist Licensure Examination

            The supremacy continues for the University of the East in the field of Dentistry as it once again produced three topnotchers in the recent Dentistry board examinations. The Professional Regulation Commission announced two days after the examination that 356 out of 818 examinees hurdled the Dentist Licensure Examination conducted this June 2008.

          Among the new UE topnotchers are second placer Mikael Querol Canlas Nisce, sixth placer Charlston Escudero Uy and seventh placer Joanna Marie Nicole Mantolino Porter.

          To highlight this year’s examination, the PRC publicized the University of the East as the top performing school with 29 to 99 examinees. 62 of the 67 examinees fielded by UE passed the examination earning a 93 percent national passing rate.

          Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on June 18, 2008 but not later than June 30, 2008. On the other hand, the oathtaking ceremony for the new dentists will be held on July 8, 2008, 1:30PM at the Manila Hotel.
