The University of the East, through the UE Graduate School, is announcing the extended call for papers for the upcoming seventh edition of ueKAMAYNILAAN!
ueKAMAYNILAAN is a research platform for disseminating and discussing recent scholarly works in various areas of knowledge and an opportunity to present research output of UE faculty members and students and other higher education institutions in the country. In this regard, all are invited to be an Online Paper Presenter or Participant to the conference!
The virtual conference theme is “Research and Innovations for Sustainability in Supporting a Post-Pandemic Future”.
The UE Graduate School will convene the 7th ueKAMAYNILAAN Research Conference, via Zoom, for graduate students, scholars and teachers across higher education institutions (HEIs), civil servants in government, and industry practitioners on March 26, 2021—with February 26, 2022 as the new deadline for the submission of abstracts.
Abstract Submission and Guidelines
1. Abstracts must be written in English.
2. Abstracts must not exceed 250 words (Arial, 12 pt., single-spaced).
3. Abstracts must include: title, complete names of authors (maximum of five), institutional affiliation, objectives, research methods, findings and conclusion.
4. Abstracts should contain original material that has neither been published nor presented in another national or international conference at the time of submission.
5. All complete submissions received within the deadline shall be acknowledged though email.
6. Notifications of acceptance shall be given seven days after the submission of the abstract.
7. Paper presentations shall not exceed 20 minutes each during the parallel sessions.

There are three payment options for all 7th ueKAMAYNILAAN participants (i.e., student participants; student presenters; and non-student and faculty participants/presenters): over-the-counter payment at any Philippine National Bank (PNB) branch, GCash, and Online Banking (Bills Payment or Bank Transfer).
I. For STUDENT PARTICIPANTS
A. PNB over-the-counter payment:
1. Fill out a PNB Bills Payment Form with the following details:
1.1. Please tick/check on “Peso Billing”.
1.2. Company name: University of the East
1.3. Reference no./Subscriber no.: your UE Student Number
1.4. Payor Name: your Full Name
1.5. Amount: P500.00
2. Present the completed Bills Payment Form to the teller and wait for your validated (yellow) copy.
3. Scan or take a picture of the validated copy and email it as proof of payment to victoria.serrano@ue.edu.ph with UE Kamaynilaan Student Payment as the email subject. In your email message, please give your full name and UE student number, and attach your proof of payment.
B. GCash:
1. After logging in to your GCash account, select “Pay Bills”.
2. Select “School” then click on “UE”.
3. Type in your 11-digit UE student number in the Account Number portion. (If your student number is less than 11 digits, please pay via option A above or D below.)
4. Type in 500.00 in the Amount portion.
5. Click on “Next” and then click on “Confirm”.
6. Scan or take a picture of your successful GCash transaction—making sure that the image shows that the payment is for UE, your payment date, your account number and the amount paid—and email it as proof of payment to victoria.serrano@ue.edu.ph with UE Kamaynilaan Student Payment as the email subject. 2. Select “Fund Transfer” or “Transfer Money” as the transaction.
3. Select “Transfer to Another Bank/Other Local Banks”.
4. Select “Philippine National Bank (12 digits)” in the list of banks.
5. Type in University of the East in the Account Name field.
6. Type in 166010018478 in the Account Number field.
7. Type in 300.00 in the Amount portion, then click on “Next” or “Proceed” to confirm the details.
8. Enter the One-Time Pin (OTP) that will be sent to your registered mobile number.
9. 3. Scan or take a picture of the validated copy and email it as proof of payment to victoria.serrano@ue.edu.ph with UE Kamaynilaan Payment as the email subject. In your email message, please give your full name, indicate if you are a Participant or a Presenter, and attach your proof of payment.
B. GCash:
1. After logging in to your GCash account, select “Bank Transfer”.
2. Select PNB among the “Bank Partners”.
3. Type in 500.00 as the Amount; University of the East in the Account Name field; and 166010018478 in the Account Number field.
4. Type in your active email address in the “Send Receipt to” field then click on “Send Money”.
5.
