Among the sporting events returning via Season 85 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines—after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic—is the Men’s Lawn Tennis Tournament!
The tournament’s first round began last March 11, 2023, with the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center as the one and only venue.
Thus far, the school year 2022-2023 lineup of the UE Red Warriors Men’s Lawn Tennis Team, under Head Coach Roel O. Licayan, have a win-loss record of three wins and one loss since the opening of the tournament.

The team then suffered their first defeat through the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 2-3, on March 15, before bouncing back and winning against the De La Salle Green Archers, 5-0, last Sunday, March 19.
The Warrior Tennists are currently on the second spot of the overall UAAP 85 Lawn Tennis rankings following their most recent win.
