The IBON Partnership in Education for Development (IPED) and the Educators’ Forum for Development (EFD) invite everyone in the UE community to “Information and Disinformation on the 2022 Elections,” a voters’ education webinar to be held this Saturday, April 23, 2022, 1:30 to 4 p.m.
The webinar will be via Zoom and will also be shown live on the Facebook accounts of IBON IPED (//www.facebook.com/WeLearnChange), IBON Foundation (//www.facebook.com/IBONFoundation) and IBON Bookshop (//www.facebook.com/ibonbookshop).
This two-and-a-half-hour webinar aims to provide teachers and students with a discussion on the economic platforms of the 2022 presidentiables, the systematic historical distortion and fake news peddling used in the elections, and the need for vigilance amidst looming electoral fraud.
IBON Foundation and EFD believe that a timely discussion of said topics can help voters choose well in the coming elections and can contribute to voters’ vigilance against disinformation, transgressions and fraud.
To register, please follow click here: bit.ly/EFDVotersEd2022. Certificates shall be provided to requesting attendees.
