The University of the East Graduate School will hold the 8th ueKAMAYNILAAN National Research Conference this Saturday, March 25, 2023, 8 a.m., at the Multipurpose Hall (MPH 3) of the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Building in UE Caloocan.
Participants for this research conference include graduate students, scholars, and teachers across higher education institutions (HEIs), civil servants in government, and industry practitioners. Conference activities include parallel paper presentations by graduate students and faculty of UE and other graduate schools.
ueKAMAYNILAAN is a research platform for disseminating and discussing recent scholarly works in various areas of knowledge. The conference’s latest theme is “Sustaining Excellence in Academic Research for Multidisciplinary Integration”.
Excellence in academic research is a crucial goal for many institutions and individual researchers, and one area that is increasingly receiving attention is the integration of multiple disciplines in research. Multidisciplinary integration, or interdisciplinary research, involves bringing experts from different fields to collaborate on a joint research project. This approach can lead to new insights and breakthroughs that would not have been possible through traditional, single-discipline research.
To achieve excellence in multidisciplinary research, institutions and researchers must create an environment that encourages collaboration and communication. This includes providing the necessary resources, such as funding and facilities, and fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication. Additionally, institutions should encourage the training and development of young researchers in multidisciplinary research through graduate interdisciplinary programs, internships, and research opportunities, with the 8th ueKAMAYNILAAN being an avenue of such a multidisciplinary research environment.
Thank you, Research Warriors within and beyond UE!
