UE’s “We are Warriors” exhibit for 66th anniversary celebration underway

The University of the East (UE) also marks its 66th anniversary celebration this September with the “We Are Warriors” exhibit at the UE Manila and Caloocan campuses.

UE’s “We are Warriors’ exhibit will open on Monday, September 24 at the Dalupan Lobby in UE Manila and at the Tan Yan Kee Academic Bldg. Exhibit Area in UE Caloocan, coinciding with the annual UE College of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design (CFAD) students’ art exhibit. According to CFAD Dean Celino Santiago, all CFAD students are involved in this annual exhibit. CFAD advertising students will also stage the “Fashion Assault” on Wednesday, September 26, at 6 p.m., at the SM Annex of the SM North Edsa.

A UE archival exhibit mounted by the UE Department of Libraries entitled, “Warriors of the East”, kicked off Friday, September 21, at the UE Central Library at the UE-PODCIT Building, UE Manila. Cutting the ribbon at the opening was Executive Director Jesus Tanchanco Sr., assisted by Dean Veronica Elizalde of the UE College of Business Administration. Among those present were UE officers: HRD Director Annie Villegas, College of Arts & Sciences Dean Justina Evangelista, MISD Director Gherman Jaramillo, UE Dept. of Libraries Director Loreto Garcia and Asst. Director Fely A. Diego.
