II. First Day Activities

IIb. Check if your enrolled class is reflected in your Canvas Account. Please report any discrepancy to itd@ue.edu.ph immediately.

IIc. Establish communication with your teacher:
     — Use various Canvas features to communicate with your classmates and teacher. Always observe proper netiquette.
     — Your teacher will inform you ahead of time about the schedule of Chat and Conference (BigBlueButton in Canvas and Google Meet in Gmail) sessions, where you should actively participate.
     — You can send pertinent messages to your classmates and teacher using Canvas Inbox.
     — Check posted reminders and instructions by your teachers via Canvas Announcement.
     — If you need to reach your classmates and teachers via email, use your UE email account.
     — Regularly check your UE email and Canvas accounts for messages from your classmates, teachers, College and University personnel.

III. Nature of Online Summer Classes
Your Summer Online Classes will be a mix of synchronous and asynchronous sessions.
The Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) is the University-prescribed platform where interaction—between teacher and students, student and course materials, and among students—takes place. Your teacher will be your guide as you progress through the term. He/She will ensure that your experience in this new mode of learning will be productive and enjoyable.

On your part, do exert the necessary effort and dedication in accomplishing the course work designed by your teachers to achieve the course outcomes.
