UE Caloocan HRM, Tourism courses now CHED-recognized

The Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM) and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) offered by the University of the East Caloocan College of Arts and Sciences (UE Cal-CAS) was recently given government recognition. The programs are now recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (C HED ) after passing CHED quality standards. This recognition is in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994 and by virtue of the Resolution 153-2000 series of 2000 of CHED en banc.

CHED-NCR director Dr. Catherine Q. The findings of the RQAT, composed of Dr. Reil Cruz and Prof. Victoria Nanagas, showed that the UE Cal-CAS has complied with all the CHED requirements for the programs.

The UE Cal-CAS started offering BSTM in school year 2007-2008 and BSHRM in SY 2008-2009; and graduated the first batch of BSTM in April and December 2011 and that of BSHRM students in April 2012.
