UE sets seminar on K to 12 Implications for 4th-year Secondary Guidance Counselors

The University of the East, through the UE Marketing Department in cooperation with UE Manila and Caloocan Guidance Offices, sets a free seminar workshop for professional advancement for the Fourth Year Secondary Level Guidance Counselors on Friday, April 26, at the Auditorium of the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Building, UE Caloocan, 105 Samson Road, Caloocan City. This whole-day event starts with registration at 8 a.m.

The seminar which focuses on the topic “K to 12 and its Implications on the Guidance and Counseling Programs and Services – Part 2” will feature as guest speaker Dr. Barbara Wong Fernandez, chair of the Technical Committee for Guidance and Counseling on Commission on Higher Education, a member of CHED’s  Technical Panel for Social Services and Communications, and VP for Academic Affairs of the Jose Rizal University.

“Our aims are to provide the participant guidance counselors with stock knowledge of the K to 12 and to prepare them in streamlining their counseling programs to respond with the demands of the K to 12 program to their students and even their co-workers in their school,” said Dr. Jesus Tanchanco Sr., UE Marketing Dept. executive director.
