UE rules again – UAAP Fencing Competition back-to-back champion in four divisions

The University of the East (UE) remained the reigning champion in four divisions in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) fencing competition. The UE Fencing Teams in men, women, boys and girls divisions, respectively, defended the fencing crown at the UAAP Season 76 Fencing Competition held from January 30 to February 2, at the Ateneo Gym, Loyola Heights, Quezon City, to set a record in the UAAP.

Also, UE fencers emerged as the most valuable players in all four divisions, namely, Michael P. Nicanor (men, 1st year BSHRM), Jamie P. Nicanor (women, 3rd year BSEd), Christian Jhester M. Concepcion (boys, 3rd year) and Divine P. Romero (girls, 3rd year). Queen Denise G. Dalmacio (girls, Grade VII) was awarded Rookie of the Year.
