UE Manila sets 2014 Guidance Week December 1 to 5

The University of the East Manila (UE Manila) will hold its Guidance Week 2014, dubbed, “Burst of Colors: A Celebration of Life”, from December 1 to 5.

UE Manila’s Guidance and Counseling Office (UE Manila GCO), led by Director Leonila V. Urrea, assisted by Guidance Counselor Grace Gonzales, spearheads the five-day, fun-filled, meaningful guidance week celebrations.

A bazaar of food and non-food items sets day-1 and 2 activities. For day-3, the morning activities are the: opening ceremonies, ribbon cutting, awarding of winners in the “Drug Addiction Prevention and Bully-free” contests, and burst of colors parade, among others. In the afternoon, the UE Peer Facilitators, SLS Peers and LGBT Support Group, and the UE Bully Free Council will host the game extravaganza, Pinoy and “Minute to win it”.

Slated in day-4 activities are cooking lessons, in cooperation with the UE College of Arts and Sciences in Manila International Hospitality Management Dept., and the Potter’s Clay demonstration for pre-school and elementary pupils in the morning, the WAVE seminar (work, attitudes, values and ethics), and LGBT team building in the afternoon.

Culminating the UE Manila Guidance Week 2014 are the Re-orientation seminar and the UE Peer interaction.
