Congratulations to our latest graduating warriors!


Over a thousand UE students will celebrate their graduation at UE’s 17th Midyear Commencement Rites, which will be held this Wednesday, December 9, 2015, 12:30 p.m. onwards, at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center.

The commencement speaker for the joint commencement rites for UE Manila and UE Caloocan graduates will be UE alumna Dr. Bee Ching U. Ong Kian Koc, a 1969 BS Physics graduate of the University’s College of Arts and Sciences-Manila (CAS Manila), where she had also been a professor, a former President of Chiang Kai Shek College, and an academic adviser of Manila Tytana Colleges.

UE’s 17th Midyear Commencement Rites will have a diversity of graduates, representing the University Graduate School and Colleges of Dentistry (CDent), Business Administration-Manila and -Caloocan (CBA), Arts and Sciences-Manila and -Caloocan (CAS), Computer Studies and Systems (CCSS), Education (CEduc), Engineering-Manila and -Caloocan (CEng’g), and Fine Arts, Architecture and Design (CFAD).

Five of the graduating students will be conferred the Latin honor of Cum Laude: UE CAS Manila’s Allyana Marie Alcantara, Cherrie Lyka Ortiz, Irene Santiago and Dianne Jocel Yabes, all of whom had taken up Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, and UE CBA Manila’s Danica Guillermo, who had taken up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Business Management.
