UPHSL and UE Establish Academic, Educational Cooperation

Officials of the University of the East and the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna and the University of the East have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop academic and educational cooperation by establishing a collaborative program in information and computing education. This comes as UPHSL College of Computer Studies and the UE College of Computer Studies and Systems recognize the benefits of increased cooperation, collaboration and interaction for purposes of broadening the experiences of their respective administration, faculty members and students as a Center of Development and a Center of Excellence in IT Education, respectively.

The MOU signing took place in UE Manila on September 5, 2017. Representing UPHSL were Executive School Director Dr. Ferdinand C. Somido and Dean Oliver M. Junio; representing UE were President Ester A. Garcia, Chancellor Linda P. Santiago and UE College of Computer Studies and Systems Dean Rodany A. Merida.
