Warrior CEng’g Prof Presents Paper at Road-Traffic Expo


UE College of Engineering-Caloocan faculty member Nelson C. Rodelas present his latest paper at the 2019 Road and Traffic Expo Philippines, held last October 1-2, 2019, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Dr. Rodelas’s research paper is about a “Smoke Belching Monitoring System for Public Utility Vehicles” which belonged to the Expo’s Urban Transportation Track.

Dr. Rodelas is a UE graduate twice over, having earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) degree from UE CEng’g Caloocan in 2000 and his Doctor of Information Technology (DIT) degree from the UE Graduate School in 2018. He had also served as Adviser of UE Caloocan’s Computer Engineering Students’ Society (COESS).

The Expo saw research presentations by various speakers from different sectors and was supported by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC), the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
