UE CEng’g Manila Graduate Now a Licensed Engineer in USA

Congratulations to UE graduate Engr. Dionece Alentajan Pria for passing the Professional Engineering Exam for Mechanical: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Refrigeration in the State of California, USA. The exam was given last October 25, 2019, by the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.

Engr. Pria had earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the UE College of Engineering-Manila at the University’s 67th Yearend Commencement Rites on April 16, 2015, at the PICC Plenary Hall.

As a UE student, Engr. Pria served as an Auditor of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers. He was an Exemplary Academic Performance Awardee in 2014. He was also a University President Scholar and a College Scholar at various times during his stay in the University.

He passed the licensure examination for mechanical engineers in the Philippines given by the Professional Regulation Commission in March 2016.

A professional engineering license in the USA is considered as the highest standard of competence and an assurance of quality in the country. As a professional licensed engineer, Engr. Pria can prepare, sign and seal, and submit engineering plans and drawings to public authority for approval. He can also accept engineering work for public and private clients. He can also be considered for government positions in federal, state or municipal agencies where his expertise is needed.

Kudos, Warrior Engineer Pria, and thank you for showing how far a UE graduate can go!
