
The University of the East proved its prowess in Dentistry once again as UE Dentistry graduate Cecille Mae Uy Deomano garnered the top rank in the December 2008 Dentist Licensure Examinations, achieving an 83.99% rating. Ms Deomano graduated DDM, Magna Cum Laude, from the UE in October 2008.
Adding to UE’s honor are two other UE Dentistry graduates who made it to the top ten: Amerigo Raguindin Beltran at 7th place with 81.20% rating and Anna Marie Manuod Santos at 9th place with 80.74% rating.
Rounding off UE’s achievement in Dentistry in December 2008 is UE’s garnering the TOP RANK in the top performing schools with 26-99 examinees, having 31 examinees passing out of 34 who took the examinations, resulting in a 91% passing rate.
The oath taking ceremonies of successful examinees in the December 2008 Dentist Licensure Examinations and the previous ones who have not taken their Oath Professional, will be held before the Board of Dentistry Monday afternoon, January 26, 2009 at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
The UE Administration will tender a testimonial dinner for UE’s successful Dentist Licensure examinees and the UE College of Dentistry faculty of instruction on Monday, January 26, 6:30 p.m., at the Kachina Room, Century Park Hotel, 599 P. Ocampo St., Malate, Manila.
