University of the East > Business Administration > UE Caloocan Student Leader is a 2022 Ayala Young Leaders Congress Delegate!

Congratulations to University of the East-Caloocan student Jeorge J. Rosales for being among the 84 student leaders selected as delegates to the 2022 Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC)! The congress was held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from June 25 to July 30, 2022, through synchronous and asynchronous activities via Zoom.

Mr. Rosales, a fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student of the UE College of Business Administration-Caloocan, is the Treasurer of the UE Caloocan Central Student Council for school year 2022-2023.

He was the Regional Vice President for Academics of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants-National Capital Region for SY 2021-2022, and the Vice President for External Affairs of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants-UE Caloocan for SY 2020-2021. He also served as the Business Manager of the Beta Epsilon Sigma Honors’ Society for SY 2020-2021, and its Treasurer for SY 2021-2022.

Mr. Rosales was among the 84 student leaders selected from various schools all over the Philippines based on their leadership track record, strong positive impact, and dedicated involvement in the service of others, their respective organizations and the community.

From an initial batch of 461 applicants for the congress, the selection was narrowed down to 350 applications screened. This was further narrowed down to 156 student leaders who underwent a panel interview conducted by the executives of the Ayala Group of Companies before the final 84 delegates were selected.

Established in 1998, the Ayala Young Leaders Congress is designed to build delegates’ confidence and enhance their leadership skills, to nurture commitment to integrity and principled leadership, to foster nationalism and idealism, and to encourage faithful stewardship of their communities and the nation’s future.

Mr. Rosales is the most recent UE student to participate in the AYLC. In 2015, Ms. Julie Ann B. Hinolan of UE CBA Manila and Mr. Kevin Conrad T. Tansiongco of the UE College of Arts and Sciences-Manila were selected as participants in that year’s AYLC, held on February 10 to 13 in Malvar, Batangas. In 2019, Mr. John Charles V.
