Congratulations to the graduates of the University of the East College of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design (CFAD) who passed the latest licensure examination for architects!
The recent Architecture Licensure Exam (ALE) was conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last January 21 and 23, 2022.
Out of 12 UE CFAD graduates who had earned the College’s Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS Arch) degree program, 11 passed the licensure examination.
These graduates made for the UE CFAD’s January 2022 ALE passing percentage of 91.67%, against the national passing percentage of 62.39%.
This is the second-highest passing percentage that the UE CFAD has achieved since UE BS Arch graduates started taking the ALE, back in June 2016. The UE CFAD had posted a 100% passing rate in the August 2021 and January 2018 ALEs.
On a related note, aspiring architects, as well as artists and interior designers, are advised that the UE CFAD is still accepting applications by new students, transferees and cross-enrollees to the UE CFAD degree programs in Fine Arts, Architecture and Interior Design for the 2nd Semester of School Year 2021-2022 until January 31, 2022. Applications for the Summer Term and 1st Sem of SY 2022-2023 are also accepted.
