With 75 days to go until UE’s 75th Foundation Anniversary, whose theme is “UE Forever,” we begin a series of look-backs on some of UE’s institutional milestones in the University’s living history.
That history dates back to September 1946, when the proverbial seeds of what will become the University of the East were planted when Dr. Francisco T. Dalupan and his partners opened CPA review classes. These were in two rented rooms in Dasmarinas Street in Manila, with 110 applicants. Out of those reviewees, four went on to become topnotchers in the 1947 CPA Board Examination.
More UE milestones will be featured in the runup to the University’s 75th Foundation Anniversary celebration in September 2021! This is indeed such a momentous time in the University’s life—and we look forward to your being part of this historic occasion, resuming, returning and brand-new Warrior Students and other dear Warrior members of the UE community!
