Following its successful inaugural research congress dubbed Congress 2020: Advances in Sustainable Enterprise Research held on January 20, 2020, the University of the East College of Business Administration-Caloocan (UE CBA Caloocan) will conduct the congress’ next edition this month. Titled “The 2021 Advances in Sustainable Enterprise Research (2021 ASER),” this international research conference will be conducted online from January 21 to 23, 2021.
As with the 2020 Congress, 2021 ASER will be co-convened by the University of the East-Caloocan and Surabaya, Indonesia-based STIE Mahardika, with Australia’s Academy of Entrepreneurs as the virtual host. Just as with the 2020 Congress, 2021 ASER is a higher education forum aimed at gathering and disseminating research output from the scientific community in the field of sustainable business, with the ultimate goal of encouraging networking among participants from various institutions and countries while drawing up ideas in the field of sustainable business that can be realized locally and internationally. With “We Can Change the World: Creating Sustainable Enterprises for Global Impact” as the theme, the 2021 ASER will feature presentations and papers that will tackle valiant, inclusive and resilient—and globally impactful—enterprises.
2021 ASER’s topics are divided into three tracks, with corresponding sub-tracks, namely:
Track 1: Entrepreneurial Strategies for a Post-Pandemic Future —
1. Opportunities, Sustainability, and Impact in a Changed Global Marketplace
2. Digitalization and Social Media-Enabled Platforms for Sustainable Impact
3. The Internet of Things (IoT) and Strategic Realities Reshaping the Virtual Enterprise
Track 2: Sustainable Enterprises and the Asian Entrepreneurial Society —
1. New Markets and Opportunities at the Bottom of the Pyramid
2. Entrepreneurship in Disproportionately Impacted Communities
3. Social Entrepreneurship Networks across Sectors and Geographical Boundaries
Track 3: Rethinking the Business Model for the New Normal —
1. Planet, People, and Profit at the Center of Emerging Models of Change
2. Collaborative Virtual Work Spaces, Hubs and Markets
3. Co-Creation and Innovation Post-Pandemic
