Attention, UE college upperclassmen and incumbent freshmen…
Ahead of your enrollment for the second semester of SY 2020-2021 starting this Friday, January 8, 2021, please be advised of the guidelines below, as issued by the UE Guidance, Counseling and Career Services Office (GCCSO), on what to do if you get a pop-up message saying “See the Dean” or “See the Guidance Counselor”—before you can enroll.
Step 1. Go to the UE website home page and click on the Enroll Online button (https://www.ue.edu.ph/iEnroll/login.html).
Step 2. Log in to UE’s Registration System. If you cannot sign in due to a pop-up-message tag such as “See the Dean” or “See the Guidance Counselor,” please email guidance@ue.edu.ph (if your campus is UE Manila) or ienroll.cal@ue.edu.ph (if your campus is UE Caloocan)—using your UEmail account—to request for the removal of the tag. Please use this format:
2a. Email subject: your College and the issue (ex. (ex. CAS Mla – See the Dean; CEng’g Cal – See the Guidance Counselor).
2b. Email message: After your greeting, please indicate your full name, UE student number, incoming year level and degree program, subjects failed or dropped within the last two semesters, and reason/s for failing or dropping.
Step 3 for UE Manila college students: Your online academic counseling will then be scheduled. For this, a UE Guidance Counselor will send to your UEmail address your Google Meet schedule, ID and password. (Please download Google Meet to your device prior to the scheduled online academic counseling.)
3a. For CCSS and CDent students with a “See the Dean” notice and other enrollment concerns: A UE Guidance Counselor will send to your email address the contact details of the Dean of your College, to whom you should write and who will advise you on the next step. Please follow the aforesaid 2a and 2b instructions in writing your email.
3b. For CAS Mla., CBA Mla., CEng’g Mla., and CEduc students with a “See the Dean” notice, please inform a parent or guardian that a UE Guidance Counselor will also talk to them during the scheduled Google Meet session.
Step 3 for UE Caloocan college students: The ienroll.cal@ue.edu.ph administrator will forward your request for the removal of the “See the Guidance Counselor” or “See the Dean” tag to the UE Guidance, Counseling and Career Services Office (GCCSO) and Dean’s Office concerned.
Step 4 for UE Mla. college students: Reply to the email to confirm your availability for your specific online academic counseling schedule, and attach a clear screenshot of your grades from the last two semesters attended.
Step 4 for UE Cal. students:
For those with a “See the Dean” tag — Your Dean’s office may refer you to the UE Caloocan GCCSO (gco.cal@ue.edu.ph) for academic counseling after you fulfill the requirements of the College/Department before the removal of the tag, i.e., a promissory note to improve academic performance, parent’s/guardian’s request to allow you to continue, et cetera.
For those with a “See the Guidance Counselor” tag: The UE Cal. GCCSO will email the Academic Counseling Form to your UE email address. After you accomplish and email the filled-out form, the GCCSO will schedule you for online academic counseling.
Step 5. After the online academic counseling, your Guidance Counselor will forward the results to your Dean. Your Dean’s Office will then process the removal of your “See the Guidance Counselor”/ “See the Dean” message. You may check your Online Enrollment Portal within two working days after the endorsement. In case you might still be unable to log in, please follow up within the GCCSO.
