The College of Arts and Sciences of UE Caloocan started as an extension unit of UE CAS Manila in 1980. It became a separate college when the UE Caloocan Campus became academically autonomous.

Dr. Juanito C. Diaz was the first Dean of UE CAS Caloocan. He was succeeded by Dr. Julieta B. Samonte. Later on, CAS Manila Dean Carmelita S. Flores acted as concurrent CAS Caloocan Dean until Dr. Corazon G. Esclabanan took over. In 1996, Dean Esclabanan was replaced by Dr. Teresita E. Erestain, who was CAS Caloocan Dean up to June 2003. Taking her place was Dr. Eleanor R. Javier, who was later on replaced by Dr. Julian E. Abuso. Succeeding Dean Abuso was Dean Crisol A. Bruza, who headed UE CAS Caloocan up to mid-2019.

The incumbent UE CAS Caloocan Dean is Dr. Jean C. Tayag.

UE CAS Caloocan, which had previously offered the Certificate in Security Management program for a few school years, offers the following degree programs:

1. Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BA Comm), which is Level III-accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU);
2. Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM), which is Level II-accredited by PAASCU;
3. Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM), which is likewise Level II-accredited by PAASCU; and
4. Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BS Psych)

UE CAS Caloocan also serves as a service college of UE Caloocan, providing general education courses for the UE College of Business Administration-Caloocan (CBA Caloocan), the UE College of Engineering-Caloocan (CEng’g Caloocan) and the UE College of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design (CFAD).
