A. Career Development Programs

The Career Development Program is designed to assist students to make choices about their career path and reflecting their own personal goals.  The program also aims to help students assess their own personality and capability, see if they are on the right career path and guide them in achieving their career goals.

Activities: Career Orientation, Career Planning, Career Talks, Mock Interview and Job Fairs.

 

B. Enrichment Programs

SACOP– The Student Academic Competence Program is designed to assist students to stay on track, guiding them to achieve good academic standing in preparation for their future career.  A student may achieve academic competence if he or she is able to maximize his positive qualities and have good  adjustment to the school environment.

Activities: Lecture on Effective Study Habits and Adjustment to College Life, Seminar on Time and Stress Management, Academic Counseling and Follow-up.

SEMAP-The Self-Enhancement and Management Program encourages and empowers our students to work towards becoming the men and women they aspire to become.  It is the aim of this program to integrate its informational and experiential concepts with the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the University in aid of producing competent individuals who are committed to self-improvement and positive social change.  This may be achieved through the establishment of a holistic plan of action towards the development of social consciousness and a sense of responsibility and a desire for overall wellness among our students; the promotion of parental recognition and acceptance of their role as primary care providers, and the commitment of the academic personnel and community in empowering our students.

Activities:  Drug Abuse, Prevention and Control, Multimedia and Cyber Technology Utilization Management, EQ Enhancement Program, Financial Awareness Program.

HEART – The Healthy Sexuality and Relationship Empowerment Program is designed to assist the students in having beneficial understanding about sexuality and relationships.  It is intended also to emphasize on how healthy sexual attitudes and behaviours can dramatically impact their lives and intimate relationships.

Activities: Individual and Group Counseling and Follow-up, Group Guidance Sessions, Film Showing and Seminars.

UECPPF – The University of the East Caloocan Perks Peer Facilitators Training Program focuses on peer facilitation and youth leadership as an effective approach for empowering students.  They are the catalysts of GCCSO in making academic life in UE Caloocan more wholesome, enjoyable, enriching and worthwhile.

Activities: Focused Group Sessions, General Assembly, Inter-University Peer Interaction, In-house Members Training-Workshop, and Outreach Program.
