Students of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) program of the UE College of Engineering (CEng’g)-Caloocan proved they are Certified Products of Excellence as they were recognized and awarded in the competitions held within the Institute of Computer Engineers of the the Philippines-National Capital Region (ICpEP-NCR) Student Challenge 2021! The awarding ceremony was held last online last December 13, 2021.
The ICpEP-NCR Student Challenge 2021 is comprised of four competitions, namely Mobile Games, Pitching, Quiz Bowl, and Programming.
In the Programming Competition held last December 4, 2021, first-year UE CEng’g Caloocan student Christian Miles G. Sim was hailed as the Champion in C Programming, with Dr. Nelson C. Rodelas as his Coach. He will go on to represent the National Capital Region in the National ICpEP Student Challenge soon.
The programming competition saw the UE team competing with their counterparts from schools such as Adamson University, Far Eastern University Institute of Technology, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, STI, Technological Institute of the Philippines-Quezon City, and Lyceum of Alabang.
Mr. Sim, along with the champions of each of the competitions, will represent NCR in the upcoming ICpEP National Student Challenge on March 19, 2022.
