Incoming first-year college students seeking to apply for the UE Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree program of the UE College of Dentistry (UE CDent) who have passed the College Entrance Examination ( CET ) administered by the UE Admissions Office-Manila, please be advised that you can apply for the UE DMD Academic Qualifying Examination exam now!
The Online Academic Qualifying Examination, which will commence on March 4, 2024, shall be given every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. (for the morning batch) and 2:30 to 4 p.m. (for the afternoon batch).
These are the guidelines to facilitate the identification of potential examinees, scheduling and conduct of the examination:
1. You must have a Gmail address. If you do not have one yet, please create one. If you are or have been a student of UE Senior High School-Manila or -Caloocan, you can use your UE email address.
2. Using your Gmail or UE email address, send a message with the subject Online Academic Qualifying Examination for Dentistry, to the UE CDent Associate Dean, Dr. Margaret C. Tiu (margaret.tiu@ue.edu.ph), with the following details:
a. Your complete name;
b. The name of your Senior High School;
c. Your SHS ACADEMIC strand;..
d. Preferred exam schedule (Choose one):
MONDAY 9:30 a.m-11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
WEDNESDAY 9:30 a.m-11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
FRIDAY 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
e. A PDF copy of your complete Grade 11 grade card and your First Semester Grade 12 grade card; and
f. A copy of your UE College Entrance Test (UE CET) result.
By providing all of those information and requirements, you authorize the UE College of Dentistry to use your information and agree to receive communication through your Gmail address. The collected information will be used solely for scheduling your examination date, and the email message will be deleted soon after you agree to the schedule.
3. You will receive a confirmation of receipt of your email and your schedule (date and time) for taking the academic qualifying examination. Please remember your assigned date and time, as you will be given only ONE schedule (Example: March 6, 2024, 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.).
4. Send a reply to confirm the schedule assigned to you. By doing so, you will be included in the list of examinees for the scheduled date and time.
5. The Google examination form will be emailed to you on your scheduled date and time. You will be given one and a half hours to finish and submit your examination form. Failure to do so forfeits your opportunity to accomplish the qualifying requirements of the UE Doctor of Dental Medicine program.
Please take note that this announcement is only for Senior High School students applying as incoming Freshmen. A separate UE DMD qualifying exam announcement for transferees and degree holders will follow soon. Be informed as well that the Dexterity Test is suspended as part of the qualifying examinations for UE DMD applicants of the First Semester of SY 2024-2025.
