Through the UE College of Arts and Sciences-Manila, you may get to take up Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (ABIS), a four-year interdisciplinary program tackling international relations, politics, law, geography, tourism, and foreign and public service.
As an international studies major, you will get to examine the connections between international and regional issues, learn how to analyze complex global affairs, expand your understanding of different cultures, and graduate with a heightened interest in finding ways to respond to global challenges.
The International Studies program at the University of the East is a gateway to a future filled with endless opportunities; where the world becomes your classroom and diplomacy is your language. The program lets you explore the intricate dynamics of global politics, economic strategies, and cross-cultural diplomacy.
At UE Manila, international studies students also cultivate future global leaders. UE students taking up ABIS can grasp various customs and cultural traditions; interpret events that show how states and other international actors behave; create and deliver analytical reports and research on political, economic, and/or social circumstances of nations; and get a chance to be multilingual and express oneโs self publicly using a foreign language.
And by way of the UE International Studies Society (ISSO), ABIS students are also taught people skills that helps broaden and improve their horizons even further, learning the best way to communicate with individuals and large groups alike while gaining emotional intelligence as they develop new and meaningful professional relationships.
