The University of the East has solidified its standing as one of the country’s top universities, ranking fifth among Philippine universities per the Private University Ranking All Asia 2026 by AppliedHE!
AppliedHE’s aforesaid 2026 list includes 240 universities throughout Asiaโand not just ASEAN, unlike its 2025 list. As the list shows, UE ranks 122nd out of 240 universities across All Asia and is one of only 38 Philippine universities among those 240 Asian HEIs.

A Singapore-based education technology company, AppliedHE has been compiling international university rankings since 2021, “with the aim of providing students, parents and other higher education stakeholders with an independent benchmark for comparing universities.”
