The University of the East College of Law’s new and grand scholarship program is open for application for the College graduates of a four-year course with LATIN HONOR and qualified transferees can apply. Applicants shall undergo a written entrance examination and panel interview and should pass the Law College Entrance Examination.
He/she shall carry a full regular academic load required by the course and comply with all the academic requirements. A scholar shall enjoy full scholarship provided he/she maintains a GPA of a least 1.75 (equivalent to 89-91%); and partial scholarship provided he/she maintains a GPA of 2.00 (equivalent to 86-88%) and in both instances, no grade lower than 2.25 in any subject, no failing grade, and no marks of “W” or “LFR” in any subject. The incoming freshmen scholar shall enjoy full scholarship during his/her first semester of study.
FULL scholarship shall cover the following per semester:
a.
100% Free tuition fees;
b.
100% Free miscellaneous fees;
c.
Monthly stipend of 20,000.00;
d.
Book allowance of 10,000.00 per semester;
e.
Transportation allowance of 5,000.00 per semester
PARTIAL scholarship shall cover the following per semester:
a.
50% discount on tuition fees;
b.
50% discount on miscellaneous fees;
c.
Monthy stipend of 10,000.00;
d.
d. Book allowance of 10,000.00 per semester;
e.
Transportation allowance of 5,000.00 per semester.
