The College of Dentistry is envisioned to be locally and internationally recognized as a premier dental education center that is responsive to the professional and moral demands of globally-competitive and empowered dental practitioners in a world with changing oral health needs.

 

 

 

GOAL

The College of Dentistry aims to provide quality program of instruction that promotes critical thinking and clinical skills essential for highly-qualified and globally competitive dental professionals.

 

 

OBJECTIVES

A graduate of Doctor of Dental Medicine is expected to:

  1. Pass the Dentistry Licensure Examination and practice the profession ethically, legally and morally as a general dentist, academician or researcher.
  2. Deliver comprehensive oral health care in intra– and inter-professional health community through collaboration.
  3. Pursue continuing education in Dentistry through postgraduate education, clinical training or membership in specialty organization.
  4. Participate in local and international research activities.  
  5. Contribute to the advancement of dental public health through outreach programs.

 


PROGRAM OUTCOMES

Dental education shall produce graduates who are globally competitive, and have the ability to:

  1. Provide quality oral health care
  2. Communicate effectively
  3. Plan and deliver community and extension dental services
  4. Engage in research activities
  5. Apply business principles, entrepreneurship, practices and processes
  6. Practice life-long learning and continue to be a life-long learner

  9. Utilize systems-based approach to healthcare
