UE CEduc Hosts Webinars on Education Under the New Normal

educThe UE College of Education (CEduc), in collaboration with the UE CEduc Student Council, is inviting everyone in the UE community to three free-to-all webinars under their “Educ Talk” series. These webinars, under the general theme “Education Under the New Normal,” aim to discuss information in line with the nation’s current situation.

The first webinar, titled “Study Habits in the New Normal,” will be this Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and will feature Prof. Mildred P. Jimenez as the resource speaker. Prof. Jimenez is a Faculty Member of UE CEduc’s Department of Professional Education and is the Program Coordinator for Faculty Development of the UE Office of Curriculum Development and Instruction (OCDI).

Mr. John Israel U. Cunanan, a Senior Administrative Assistant at the UE OCDI, is the resource speaker for the second webinar, titled “How to, When to and Why Think About the Aims of Education”. Mr. Cunanan’s talk will be on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

UE College of Education Officer-in-Charge Eva Aurora D. Callueng, Ph.D., will be the speaker of the third webinar, “The Teacher and The Teaching Profession in the Pandemic” next Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

The Educ Talk series was organized to help and support students in the changing education landscape through various topics such as “The Hows of a Webinar,” “Mental Health in the Time of Covid-19,” “Student Discipline During Quarantine,” “Cyber Smart Students Attend Virtual Classes,” “Ending Physical Inactivity at Home,” and “What It Takes to Be A Leader in the New Normal.”
