UE to Honor Newly Licensed Engineers, Second, Fourth Placer

The University of the East will honor its newest batch of licensed engineers with a testimonial dinner on Thursday, February 24, at 7 p.m. at the Century Park Hotel. These new engineers are UE Manila and Caloocan College of Engineering (CoE) graduates that successfully passed the Licensure Examinations for Mechanical Engineers in March 2010, Electrical Engineers in September 2010, Civil Engineers and Electronics Engineers in November 2010.

Two UE Caloocan CoE alumni landed places in the top ten: Richard Louie S. Macapagal, mechanical engineer, second place at 92.50 per cent passing average, and Ma. Lara N. Bantilo, electronics engineer, fourth place at 90.70 per cent passing average. Bantilo, who graduated BS Electronics and Communications Engineering, second semester, SY 2009-10, was a consistent UE Tan Yan Kee Foundation Inc. scholar, while Macapagal, who completed BS Mechanical Engineering at the same time, was a UE university scholar.
