UE Manila Hosts Free Human Evolution Lecture

The Manila Campus of the University of the East will be hosting this Wednesday, July 27, 2016, the second of two lectures in line with the Traveling Museum PH’s “The First Humans Out of Africa: The Journey of Mankind” travelling exhibit.

The lecture is about “General Human Evolution” and will recount the proverbial journey to who we are today—from our primate roots to the first hominids. Ms. Kat Manalo, a member of the Rizal Kalinga Expedition, will be the guest speaker.

This lecture comes in the heels of the July 20 lecture on “The First Humans Out of Africa: The Case of Dmanisi” by Travelling Museum PH Project Leader Mylene Lising about the paleoanthropological and archeological site of Dmanisi, Georgia.

The talk will be at 2 p.m. at the UE Conference Hall. Everyone in the UE community is invited to take part in this activity as well as to check out the exhibit at the Dalupan Lobby in UE Manila, which is open Mondays to Saturdays up to August 5.
