UE MANILA classes for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Computer Studies and Systems, and Education, as well as Physical Education classes, will shift to online synchronous on Wednesday, September 10, due to road closures for the conduct of the 2025 Bar exam.

Classes in the Basic Education Department-Manila and Graduate School will shift to asynchronous.

UE Juris Doctor, Dentistry (except 1st-year) and Engineering-Manila classes will proceed as usual on campus.

UE Caloocan classes will proceed as usual.

UE offices will be open as usual.

The University of the East College of Engineering-Manila (UE CEng’g Manila) has been officially recognized as the 9th Top Performing School in the July 2025 Master Plumbers Licensure Examination by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)!

Out of 12 examinees, 10 UE CEng’g Mla. graduates successfully passed the recent exam, resulting in an 83.33% passing rate. The College’s successful examinees consist of eight Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) graduates and two BS Mechanical Engineering (BSME) graduates, further affirming the competence and quality of UE Engineering education.

The newly licensed, UE-molded Master Plumbers are the following:

UE BSCE graduates Rodolfo Jr. Relado Barquin, Erickson Damian Bellen, Dianne Mandac Berame, Mijibell Roguel Berberabe, Renz Stephen Luris Dayto, Marielle Louiza Panes Fortin, Homer John Madrio Osuna, and Elaine Joy Albano Ramos; and

UE BSME graduates Ma. Edna Danielle Mendoza Dolorito and Christelle Joie Reyes Eduarte.

On August 30, 2025, during the Oath-taking Ceremony of New Master Plumbers held at The Tent City of the Manila Hotel, Engr. Mark Anthony L. Escober, Chairman of the UE CEng’g Manila’s Civil Engineering Department, formally received the Certificate of Recognition on behalf of the University. The award was conferred by the Professional Regulatory Board for Master Plumbers, under the supervision of the PRC.

This recognition highlights the University of the East’s commitment to academic excellence and the continued success of its graduates in professional licensure examinations.

*Int'l Students Orientation at Manila Campus Today*

UE Manila students from outside the Philippines will have their General Assembly and Visa Orientation for you this Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Organized by the UE Office for International Affairs and External Linkages (OIL), this joint assembly and orientation will be held starting 10 a.m. at the UE Manila Briefing Room.

Facilitating the orientation will be UE OIL Director Darwin M. Guianan and Administrative Staffer Edelyn H. Villaruel, following a special message from UE President and Chief Academic Officer Zosimo M. Battad.

*UE CEng’g Manila Yields 100% First-timers’ Result in Electrical Engineers Licensure Exam!*

KUDOS to the UE College of Engineering-Manila for yielding a 100% passing percentage in the latest licensure examination for registered electrical engineers (REE)!

Through three graduates who became successful examinees, UE CEng’g Manila earned a 100% first-timers’ passing percentage in the REE licensure examination conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on August 18 and 19, 2025.

Meanwhile, the College’s four repeaters were unable to pass the exam, making for a 42.86% overall passing percentage for the College, while the national passing percentage is 38.92%.
