The UE community condoles still with the family of the late Prof. Raquel Ortazon Esteban, a former faculty member of the UE College of Business Administration-Manila. Prof. Esteban passed away on February 21, 2024, at age 69.
Born on the same date in 1955 in Catubig, Samar, Prof. Esteban was a UE faculty member for 22 years, starting in June 1995 until her retirement in April 2017. She taught Finance subjects as part of UE CBA Manila’s Finance, Economics and Business Mathematics (FECOMATH) Department.
A JRU alumna, she had taken up the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at the UE Graduate School. She was among the University Service Awardees for 20 years of service in September 2015, during UE’s 69th Foundation Anniversary.
Rest in peace, Prof. Esteban, and thank you still for your Warrior teaching service and care for generations of UE students.
