PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs):

 

Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sciences Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences Major in Fitness and Sports Management

Graduates of Bachelor Science in Exercise Sciences major in Fitness and Sports Management will be able to achieve the following Program Educational Objectives after 3-5 of their graduation:

PEO 1. Be skilled coaches in areas of fitness, strength, performance, and nutrition.
PEO 2. Provide recreational therapy and plan exercise and movement-based therapy programs for people with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses.

PEO 3. Offer consultancy to medical institutions to help support patients to recover from chronic diseases by way of developing fitness plans.
PEO 4. Prepare to pursue a post-graduate degree in their field.

PEO 5. Serve as active members of the sports and fitness industry here or abroad.

 

Bachelor of Elementary and Secondary Education

Graduates of Bachelor of Elementary and Secondary Education will be able to achieve the following Program Educational Objectives after 3-5 years of their graduation:

PEO 1. Acquire a teaching license to be employed in reputable government and private educational institutions.
PEO 2. Communicate effectively in the field of the teaching profession and related areas where they can utilize their acquired competencies.

PEO 3. Prepare to pursue a post-graduate degree in their field.
PEO 4. Serve as active members of the teaching community here or abroad.

 

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics

Graduates of Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics will be able to achieve the following Program Educational Objectives in 3-5 years after graduation.

PEO1. Perform the role of Registered Nutritionist – Dietitian in providing comprehensive nutritional care of individuals in the different practice.
PEO2. Integrate nutrition concerns with local and national development efforts through Public Health Nutrition.

PEO3. Manage a food service unit in hospitals, food service institutions, and diet meal plan services.

PEO4. Conduct research, food product development, and quality assurance through research institutions and food establishments.

PEO5. Pursue post-graduate degree and training to further develop the professional competencies; become a member or officer of the different professional organizations.
