The University of the East, through the UE Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) and in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), is joins the country in celebrating National Arts Month 2024, the theme of which is “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain”.
This festive observance in UE will be through an array of performances and presentations this February, starting with the UE OCA National Arts Month Launch featuring UE’s four cultural groups—the UE Band, UE Chorale, UE Drama Company and the UE Silanganan Dance Troupe—on Monday, February 5, 12 noon, at the Dalupan Lobby in UE Manila.
That will be succeeded later this National Arts Month with individual performances by UE’s four cultural groups, namely:
— “E-Tseter-Ah” by the UE Drama Company, Feb. 8 (Thursday), 3 p.m., at the Dalupan Lobby
— “Koro at Pag-ibig” by the UE Chorale, Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Wednesday), at the UE Theatre
— “Tunog Kalye Este” with the UE Band, Feb. 26 (Monday), 3 p.m., at the Dalupan Lobby
— “Panumbalik sa Simulan” by the UE Silanganan Dance Troupe, Feb. 27 (Tuesday), at the UE Theatre.
