APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS 

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate School, applicants must have:

  • a Bachelor’s degree to qualify for a Master’s degree
  • and a Master’s degree to be eligible for a Doctorate degree
  • TOEFL or IELTS test score or English language proficiency certification (via the Online English Language Intensive Program of the University)
  • Documents as listed in Item 5 below and authenticated at the Philippine Embassy or Consulate nearest your location.
  • Satisfactory score in the University of the East Graduate School admission test

 

APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Sign the Consent form using the link: Consent Form

2. Have your TOEFL or IELTS score sent to the University of the East. In the absence of a TOEFL or IELTS certified score, register for the Online English Language Intensive Program at eloida.dagumboy@ue.edu.ph

3. Submit a certificate of completion of the Online English Language Intensive Program via email to gs.admissions@ue.edu.ph

4. Accomplish your online application form (downloadable inside the consent form).

5. Submit the scanned/softcopy of the following authenticated documents to gs.admissions@ue.edu.ph

If any of the required documents is in a language other than English, please have the documents translated into English and authenticated at the Philippine Embassy or Consulate nearest your location. 

  • Transcript of Records (TOR)
  • Diploma
  • ID Page of Valid Passport or Bio page of Valid Passport.
  • Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card if currently residing in the Philippines
  • Police clearance from the country of origin and NBI clearance if residing in the Philippines for more than 60 days.
  • Birth Certificate
  • Other documents that the University or government may require in relation to the eventual resumption of face-to-face classes on the campus.

 

Additional requirements for transferees:

  • Transfer credentials include
  1. Permit of Transfer from CHED. If the student is transferring from another graduate school in the Philippines.
  2. Certificate of Transfer/Honorable Dismissal.  To be submitted only if an applicant is ready to enroll.
  3. Proof of Adequate Financial Support or Affidavit of Support to cover the cost of studying and living in the country.

6. Send the hardcopy of the authenticated documents listed in Item 5 above via courier to

7. Thereafter upon verification of the complete authenticated documents, the Graduate School Admissions Staff (gs.admissions@ue.edu.ph) will send the following to the applicant:

  • Confirmation that submitted documents have been received
  • A reference number for the payment of the entrance examination fee
  • Online payment options

8. Send proof of payment to both gs.admissions@ue.edu.ph and finance@ue.edu.ph

9. The Guidance, Counselling, and Career Services Office (annecamille.delrosario@ue.edu.ph) will email the entrance examination schedule to the applicant. Take the examination as scheduled.

10. The Graduate School Admissions Staff (gs.admissions@ue.edu.ph) will send the following after completing the entrance examination:

  • Results of the entrance examination
  • Student number
  • Instructions on how to access the student portal and how to use the iEnroll Module to choose the subjects
  • Online payment options

11. Send proof of payment to both gs.admissions@ue.edu.ph and finance@ue.edu.ph

12. The Graduate School Admissions Staff (gs.admissions@ue.edu.ph) will send the following instructions:

  • Activation of UE email account;
  • Access to Canvas learning management system

13. For requirements regarding the Visa Application of Foreign Students, please contact the Students Affairs Office (edilina.baldoza@ue.edu.ph).
