A group of recent UE Manila students and a faculty member were recognized by the YMCA of Manila during its annual Recognition Program!
Held at the YMCA of Manila Auditorium, the recognition program honors outstanding college students and faculty advisers who embody the core principles of the YMCA movement. The event aims to recognize members of various Metro Manila colleges and universities who have actively contributed to their respective College Y Clubs.
UE College of Computer Studies and Systems (CCSS) Prof. Reynalyn E. Tolentino, the Adviser for the UE Manila College Y Club, was named Outstanding College Y Adviser of the Year.
SY 2023-2024 UE Manila University Student Council (USC) President Queenie Leal received the Leadership Excellence Award, while former UE Manila International Studies Society (ISSo) President Ramyla Ynah Parreño was presented with the Academic Excellence Award. Miss Leal recently graduated Summa Cum Laude and Miss Parreño graduated Magna Cum Laude during the recent UE Manila Commencement exercises on June 21, 2024, at the PICC Plenary Hall.
The following UE Manila students and College Y officers/members were also recognized as Outstanding College Y’ers of the Year for their remarkable contributions: Angelique Lopez (College Y Club Deputy Marketing Director and Incoming USC President), Raven Enriquez (College Y Club President), Roman Paulo Baet (College Y Club Vice President-External), Mark Anthony Dorado (College Y Club Outreach Director and Incoming UE College of Business Administration-Manila Student Council President), Jushua Mesias (College Y Club Creative Director), Mawen Anthony Iringan (College Y Club PRO), Patricia Samodio (College Y Club Business Manager), Xavier Estrada (College Y Club Academic Director), Luzille Allyana Robles (College Y Club College of Dentistry Representative), and John Christopher Bernal (College Y Club Marketing Director).
UE Manila’s College Y Club received recognition as an Active Club for the second consecutive year due to the team’s successful projects, advocacies and active participation in YMCA of Manila activities. The College Y Club is a University-wide recognized student organization (RSO) based in UE Manila.
